Ritu Shanti or Rajaswala shanti is performed for the Pushpavati who attends the Puberty. Depending on the date and time, we have to check if any Dosham is there then the Shanti is to be performed. Its very important to perform Punyahavachanam which involves cleansing, by performing Ganapathy pooja, Kalasha pooja and Chanting the mantras to invoke the power in the water. This purified water is sprinkled especially on the Pushpavati.  If Dosham is there then Bhuvaneshwari Shanti Homam is to be performed along with Navagraha and Nakshatra Shanti.

When to Perform Ritu Shanti?

Half Saree Function or Ritu Shanti is usually performed on the 11th day or in Some communities on 5th day it can be performed.
